Title: Lemon Tree

I've not been following Illustration Friday for quite a while now due to a hectic schedule. But I am back! =)

Years ago there was a song made famous by Fool's Garden titled "Lemon Tree". The chorus goes like this:

I wonder how
I wonder why
Yesterday you told me 'bout the blue blue sky
And all that I can see is just a yellow lemon-tree
I'm turning my head up and down
I'm turning turning turning turning turning around
And all that I can see is just another lemon-tree

Although the song is not my cup of tea, I found myself thinking about it when I came across this week's topic.

I love how rain sounds like against my window. And I love how my bed feels extra comfy during days like that. I simply love staying in on rainy days! I'm sure most of you would feel the same way too... but... I know of someone who'd disagree with me! Croak, lil froggie, croak! =P

Nothing beats having the real thing! I love dogs, and I never want them to be replaced by mechanical ones. However, technology is replacing lovable pets with electronic, virtual, and battery operated ones.... How sad... =(

If ladybugs weren't that tiny, I'd draw miniature ladybugs on their spots so they won't be lonely. Haha, nonsense!! But seriously, till today, I've not seen more than one ladybug at one go... have you? Or have I simply been missing out on their little gatherings? =)

We don't have spring here in Malaysia, so I needed some reference to complete this week's title. While referring to a picture I found on the net, I drew my younger sister, much younger than she is now... =) If we had spring, this is what she'll probably be doing as a little kid.
